If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

You must provide a police certificate when you apply for:
- permanent residence
- citizenship
- some temporary residence programs

How to apply
Apply in person for the police certificate to the tribunal representing the region where you reside in Senegal. You must provide a certified copy of your identity card or birth certificate and pay the applicable fees.
