How to get a police certificate – Seychelles
If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

How to get a Police Certificate:
If you are a citizen of Seychelles:
If you live in Seychelles:
You should apply in person to the Commissioner of Police (see Special notes and considerations for complete address). You must provide:
- Identification documents: birth certificate or passport
- Must allow fingerprints to be taken
- Applicable fees
If you live outside of Seychelles:
You should apply in writing to the Commissioner of Police (see Special notes and considerations for complete address). You must provide:
- Copies of your birth certificate and passport
- The address where you lived while in Seychelles
- Date you left Seychelles
- Applicable fees
If you are not a citizen of Seychelles:
If you live in Seychelles:
You should apply in person to the Commissioner of Police (see Special notes and considerations for complete address). You must provide:
- Copies of your passport and proof of legal stay in Seychelles, visa/permit
- Copy of your birth certificate
- Must allow fingerprints to be taken
- Applicable fees
If you live outside of Seychelles:
You should apply in writing to the Commissioner of Police (see Special notes and considerations for complete address). You must provide:
- Copies of your birth certificate and passport
- The address where you lived in Seychelles
- Date you left Seychelles
- Applicable fees
