Permanent residence for extended family of former Afghan interpreters: Get your documents ready

Before you start your application, you should gather the documents you need. Your application may be returned to you if you’re missing anything.

Don’t submit original documents unless we ask you to. We won’t return the documents you send us. Make copies of everything before you submit your application.

To prove your relationship, you must submit a completed statutory declaration [IMM 0151] (opens in a new tab) signed by your Afghan family member in Canada (the former interpreter).

You should also provide other proof of your relationship to your family member in Canada (the former interpreter), to support your application. We accept the following as proof:
