have a Quebec Notice of Intent to Select from the Ministère de la Francisation, de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration

- We’ll refuse your work permit application if you apply more than 6 months from the date your notice was issued.

plan to live in Quebec
meet the general eligibility requirements for a work permit.

You need to meet all of the above criteria to be eligible for this open work permit.

Accompanying family members

Your spouse or common-law partner and dependent children are eligible for an open work permit as family members of a high-skilled worker.

They don’t need to give proof that you are, or will be, employed in Canada when they submit their work permit applications.
