Government of Canada supporting Acentury Inc. in developing semiconductor technologies for wireless communications

Project will accelerate component design and manufacturing process of semiconductors

Canadians rely on wireless communications technologies in all sectors of our economy. The Government of Canada is committed to supporting innovative Canadian businesses who are working to develop these cutting-edge technologies, giving them an additional advantage when competing internationally while advancing ground-breaking Canadian capabilities.

Today, Majid Jowhari, Member of Parliament for Richmond Hill, on behalf of the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, announced Acentury Inc, is receiving advisory services and up to $826,400.00 in funding through the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program.

The funding will support the development of Acentury Inc.'s design simulation and test measurement software platform, which will help to accelerate component design and manufacturing process of semiconductors for wireless communications.
