CanNor announces investment in five local food initiatives across the Northwest Territories

Today, Michael McLeod, Member of Parliament for the Northwest Territories, on behalf of the Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs and Minister responsible for CanNor, announced federal investments of over $4 million into five local food initiatives in the Northwest Territories. This funding, delivered by CanNor, will support communities, organizations and businesses in improving infrastructure to produce, harvest, process and distribute local and country foods, as well as promote a competitive agricultural sector in the territory.
