Rapid, sustainable housing construction is a priority for the Government of Canada. To meet the current shortage, the government is making investments to support the development of innovative, sustainable manufacturing solutions, thereby accelerating the construction of affordable housing. In this context, Stéphane Lauzon, Member of Parliament for Argenteuil‒La Petite-Nation, will highlight the funding provided by CED to projects by Ottawa Aluminium Manufacturers and Fab Structures, which will help to stimulate innovation in Quebec’s homebuilding supply chain.
