The Government of Canada, through ACOA, is investing $624,159 in several tourism and community-related projects on Newfoundland and Labrador’s west coast. The projects aim to enhance and improve infrastructure and experiences so visitors can further enjoy the area’s rugged and beautiful landscape.
From skiing and snowmobiling in the winter to hiking and mountain biking in the summer, Western Newfoundland is a world-class tourist destination year-round. It supports hundreds of good jobs and generates many direct and indirect economic opportunities. Activities that all grow the province’s reputation as an attractive place to live, visit and do business.
