The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced today that it is launching an investigation on whether certain fabricated industrial steel components originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China (China), the Republic of Korea, Spain, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom are being sold at unfair prices into Canada. It will also investigate whether or not subsidies are being applied to fabricated industrial steel components from China in contravention of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA).
