Today the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Natural Resource and Member of Parliament for St. John's South - Mount Pearl, on behalf of the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of the Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, participated in a ceremony to unveil a plaque recognizing the importance of the Newfoundland National War Memorial as a place of national historic significance.
