Pam Damoff, Member of Parliament for Oakville North – Burlington, on behalf of the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will join the Honourable Yonah Martin, Senator for British Columbia, Ken Griffith, President of the Korea Veterans Association of Canada, Unit 26 Hamilton and other officials in commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice and the contributions and sacrifices of the Royal Canadian Navy during the conflict.
Ali Ehsassi, Member of Parliament for Willowdale, on behalf of the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, along with the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario will attend a memorial service and wreath laying to mark the 65th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice and recognize the service of Canadian Korean War Veterans.
