The Government of Canada, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario (FedNor), is allocating $312,500 to help provide talented Northern Ontario post-secondary graduates with the work experience they need to pursue their career aspirations. These FedNor investments are helping to bring youth and organizations together for a period of one year, giving them the tools and resources they need to play an active role in the recovery, rebuilding and re-energizing of the region’s economy.

Today, the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for FedNor, and Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay–Superior North, announced Government of Canada investments totalling $10,901,275 through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF) for 29 projects in support of municipalities, organizations and First Nation communities across Northern Ontario.
