Annie Koutrakis, Member of Parliament for Vimy and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for CED, will visit the Lanaudière region to announce CED financial assistance for three tourism organizations: the Forêt de l’Abbaye, Chalets Lanaudière and the Centre de villégiature et de congrès Lanaudière. She will also take the opportunity during her time in the region to visit Industries Harnois and announce CED contributions for this business and for Industries Mailhot. Ms. Koutrakis will be available to answer the media’s questions after the tour.

The Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Member of Parliament for Hochelaga, Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for CED, will participate today in the Sommet de l’Est organized by the Chambre de commerce de l’Est de Montréal (CCEM). On this occasion, she will announce Government of Canada financial assistance to boost economic development in the East End of Montréal, participate in group discussions, and meet with socio economic stakeholders.

Today, the Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Member of Parliament for Hochelaga, Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for CED, took advantage of her participation in the Sommet de l’Est to announce significant investments in Montréal’s East End: funding for eight Montréal organizations and a dedicated envelope for projects that will have economic spin-offs in the East End.
