Today, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) announced its decision to renew AREVA’s Uranium Mine Operating Licence for the McClean Lake Operation (MLO) for a 10-year period. This decision was made following a public hearing held on June 7 and 8, 2017 in La Ronge, SK. The licence will be valid from July 1, 2017 until June 30, 2027.
