Federal funding of $29,841 will allow the Whiskey Jack Nordic Ski Club Society to improve the cross country trails at Beatton Provincial Park. The project will mulch and clear the trails, install culverts, remediate the existing crossing and improve the grading of the trails. Ultimately, this project will improve the safety, access and variety of the cross country trails by changing the design and grades of the existing trails, which have not been updated for 30 years.
