To kick off the 7th edition of the Student Masterworks exhibition, The National Battlefields Commission joined project organizers Christian and Jean-Pierre Lagueux this afternoon in welcoming local press to the Plains of Abraham Museum in the presence of François Blais, Minister of Education, Higher Education and Research and Minister responsible for Recreation and Sport. The exhibition, which features new reproductions of historical objects from New France (1500s–1700s), has once again dazzled visitors with the calibre of the student works!


Tribunal Finds Threat of Injury-Photovoltaic Modules and Laminates from China

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) today found that the dumping and subsidizing of photovoltaic modules and laminates, originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China, have not caused but are threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry. Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency. The complainants in this case were Eclipsall Manufacturing Corp., of Toronto, Ontario; Heliene Inc., of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; Silfab Solar Inc., of Mississauga, Ontario; and Solgate Inc., of Woodbridge, Ontario.
