The Honourable Tony Clement, MP for Parry¿Sound Muskoka and President of the Treasury Board, on behalf of the Honourable Greg Rickford, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources and Minister for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario (FedNor), announced today an investment to help a local business innovate, become more competitive, expand into new markets and support jobs in the Parry Sound region.
The Government of Canada is providing $70,000 in funding to the Woodland Cultural Centre. This investment, provided through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, will support the 2015 edition of the Planet IndigenUS festival.
Greg Kerr, Member of Parliament (West Nova), today announced $2,000 in funding for the Wedgeport Acadian Festival Association. He made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
