Seizure of contraband at Collins Bay Institution - Medium-security unit

On April 29, 2015, as a result of the vigilance of staff members, a package containing contraband was seized in the perimeter of the medium-security unit at Collins Bay Institution. The contraband seized included 39 grams of marijuana and 92 grams of tobacco. The total estimated institutional value of this seizure is $5,900.
