The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) today announced the appointment of Paula L. Cruickshank as Vice President Securitization, effective May 19. In this role, Ms. Cruickshank will head up the Canadian Secured Credit Facility (CSCF), which BDC was asked to establish and manage at the time of the Federal Government's January 27 budget announcement.

General Walt Natynczyk, Chief of the Defence Staff, today presided over the formal change of command ceremony for Canada Command, held here at the Cartier Square Drill Hall. Vice-Admiral Bruce Donaldson assumed the duties of Commander Canada Command from Vice-Admiral Dean McFadden, who will become Chief of the Maritime Staff later this summer. Vice-Admiral Donaldson was recently promoted after serving as the Director of Staff for the Strategic Joint Staff here at National Defence Headquarters.
