British Columbia residents and visitors from across Canada will be able to participate in the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the colony of British Columbia, thanks to funding from the Government of Canada.
Portage la Prairie RCMP, with the assistance of the Winnipeg Major Crime Services Unit, the Dauphin Major Crime Services Unit and Winnipeg Forensic Identification Section are continuing to investigate the murder of a 22 year old male subject which occurred on a Greyhound bus traveling eastbound on Hwy #1 during the evening hours of July 30, 2008.
The RCMP are aware of media reports that the victim of this tragic incident has been identified. The Winnipeg Major Crime Services Unit has been in touch with the family of the deceased.
