Canadian Hospitals Maternity Policies and Practices Survey (2012)

The report from the Canadian Hospitals Maternity Policies and Practices Survey is now available upon request.

The Canadian Hospitals Maternity Policies and Practices Survey is a project of the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canadian Institute of Child Health. It asks questions about routine maternity care policies and practices in Canadian hospitals, and 323 hospitals from across the country participated (response rate: 91.5%).

This report will be of interest to those responsible for developing hospital maternity policies and programs, health care professionals, researchers, as well as interested organizations and individuals, and may be useful to the review of current policies, programs, and practices, for improved maternal and infant health in Canada.
