- Provide information and guidance to stakeholders on their obligations under the HPTA, HPTR, HAA, and HAR
- Publish reports, training materials and run information seminars
- Respond to enquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain an active dialogue with regulated and other interested parties
- Collaborate with federal, provincial/territorial and international organizations
- Engage stakeholders on the development of standards and guidelines
- Develop and publish policies to inform and promote transparency
- Conduct pre-licencing inspections & document reviews
Monitoring and Verification
- Request, collect and analyse information to assess risk in order to make evidence-based decisions

- Issue orders to provide information under HPTA article 38
