Epidemiological summary
During epidemiological week 24, 2018 one new laboratory-confirmed case of measles was reported in Canada1. No cases of rubella were reported. The case was reported by the province of Ontario and is a secondary case to an imported case reported during week 22.
To date in 2018, a total of 16 cases have been reported.
The last rubella case was reported in February 2016.
