Epidemiological summary:
During epidemiological week 07, 2018 one new laboratory-confirmed cases of measles was reported by the province of Ontario1. The case reported travel history to a known measles endemic country (India). Cumulatively, there have been three measles cases in 2018, all associated with travel to India.
It has been 103 epidemiological weeks since the last rubella case was reported.

Measles
In 2018, two cases of measles have been genotyped and the genotype was D8 (n=2) (Figure 3).
The case reported in epidemiological week 06, 2018, with travel history to India, was genotype D8.
