The Centralized Professional Services System (CPSS) is a search portal. It is used by federal department procurement officers to confirm pre-qualified suppliers for professional services requirements under the following methods of supply (MoS):

Informatics method of supply: Contracting for IT professional services (application services, geomatics, cyber-protection, telecommunications, etc.) through 2 approaches:
- task-based informatics professional services (TBIPS) to deliver predefined deliverables
- solutions-based informatics professional services (SBIPS) to offer comprehensive IT solutions
- Task and solutions professional services: Contracting for Non-IT professional services (human resources, business consulting, change management, learning services, etc.) through 2 approaches:
- task-based services to deliver specific, predefined deliverables (Task and solutions professional services (TSPS) Task-based)
- solutions-based services to offer comprehensive Non-IT solutions (TSPS Solutions-based)
- ProServices: Contracting for all task-based services covered by TSPS and the TBIPS MoS for any and all requirements taking place below international trade limits
- Temporary help services in the National Capital Region: Contracting for temporary replacement personnel to cover for absent or unstaffed public servant positions in the National Capital Region (NCR) only, with a maximum 48 week cap
- Professional audit support services: Contracting for services to support internal audits, funding compliance and financial accounting
Suppliers wishing to join one or more MoS must bid via CPSS and have their bid(s) evaluated before becoming pre-qualified.
