Collaborative procurement opportunities for governments and other eligible organizations: How to join

Currently 12 provinces and territories and 1 Canadian public health organisation have signed agreements with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). The agreement enables them to use specific Government of Canada procurement tools to buy goods and services.

Your institution may also be eligible to use PSPC’s procurement tools through your respective province or territory. Eligible organizations include municipalities, academic institutions, schools and hospitals (MASH) sector entities.

Applying to the initiative

To join the Canadian Collaborative Procurement Initiative (CCPI):

1. verify that your organization is eligible to join by consulting the CCPI Eligibility and conditions of use
2. notify your provincial or territorial government of your intention to join the CCPI using the Contact information for provinces and territories
3. sign an accessibility agreement with your provincial or territorial government
4. after you sign an accessibility agreement, you must inform CCPI, each year, which instruments may be of interest to you, by:
   1. consulting the list of commodities available through the Canadian Collaborative Procurement Initiative (3-year plan)
   2. completing and submitting the Commodity interest form
