Stakeholder engagement in the Controlled Goods Program
Public Services and Procurement Canada’s (PSPC) Controlled Goods Program (CGP) works with industry to identify important matters that impact the program. Explore the current opportunities to get involved.
Industry Engagement Committee
The Industry Engagement Committee (IEC) brings industry and the CGP together to optimize the protection of Canada’s national security interests by:
- facilitating the sharing of our collective knowledge and abilities
- identifying important matters and potential impacts to:
- the program
- Defence Production Act and Controlled Goods Regulations
- the Canadian defence industry
The IEC meets at least once per year.

Share your thoughts
Submit suggested topics and challenges you face regarding the CGP. These will help the IEC identify important matters potentially impacting the program and work towards developing a solution.
Topics or challenges should be:
- set out to develop a solution
- relative to industry and the CGP
- reflective of one being faced by or impacting the Canadian defence industry and industries within various business areas such as but not limited to:
- aerospace
- naval
- land systems
- electronics
- emerging technology
- aligned with the IEC’s ultimate objective of optimizing the protection of Canada’s national security interests
All submissions will be reviewed but cannot be guaranteed to be addressed by the IEC.
