1. What is Alberta.ca Account?

Alberta.ca Account is a digital identity issued by the Government of Alberta that provides access to government services.

2. How can I use Alberta.ca Account to sign in to My Account?

Alberta.ca Account is a credential that the CRA is accepting to sign in to My Account. On the My Account for Individuals web page, select “Provincial partner sign in” and then sign in using your “Alberta.ca Account” to gain access to the CRA’s My Account.

3. Can I use Alberta.ca Account to sign in to other CRA sign-in services?

No. Alberta.ca Account can only be used to sign in to My Account for Individuals.

4.  I am a resident of the province of Alberta and already access My Account using an existing CRA user ID and password or Sign-In Partner, can I continue to use them?

Yes. Alberta.ca Account credential is another option being offered to Alberta residents only, however you can continue to use your existing sign in information to access My Account.
