PRPP amendment process
All amendments to a PRPP must be submitted to the RPD for approval. Amendments must be submitted by the plan administrator in the prescribed manner and the PRPP as amended must comply with the conditions for registration and additional conditions.
The application for the acceptance of an amendment to the PRPP must include:
- a completed Form RC365-CA, Pooled Registered Pension Plan Amendment Information. If your pension supervisory authority has a joint form with the CRA, the applicable RC365 form should be sent instead. This form can now be submitted electronically. Go to filing methods for more information.
- a certified copy of the amendment, plan revisions or change in the funding media.
