Circular North America: a World Circular Economy Forum side event

Canada will be hosting the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) in 2021. In preparation for the Forum, Environment and Climate Change Canada and the United Nations Environment Programme North America Office will co-host Circular North America, a WCEFonline side event on November 19, 2020.

The Circular North America side event will focus on the opportunities, issues and challenges associated with advancing North America’s circular transition.

This interactive event will support networking and community building through plenary and break-out sessions. A discussion paper will be shared to encourage dialogue. Participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and brainstorm a path forward for the circular economy within the North American context.

The side event is being organized in partnership with the Circular Economy Leadership Coalition, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and MIT Solve, and will build on discussions from The journey to a circular economy in the Canada-US region, a WCEFonline session that was held September 29, 2020.

Participation in the Circular North America side event is limited, and registration is now closed.
Please stay tuned for updates on any future events.

Registrants will receive a participation link via email.
