Strengthening the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999
The Government of Canada is proposing to take steps to strengthen the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA), including recognition of a right to a healthy environment under the Act. The changes will strengthen protections for Canadians and the environment.
