This interactive workshop looks at the main categories of anglicisms: lexical, syntactic and semantic. The goal is for participants to become more aware of the prevalence of anglicisms in French.

The workshop is given in French; however, you are welcome to use the official language of your choice.
Learning objectives

At the end of the workshop, you will be:

  • more aware of the prevalence of anglicisms in French
  • able to distinguish between the main types of anglicisms
  • better equipped to avoid using anglicisms in your writing
