Minister Fortier announces new strategic investment in British Columbia to enhance greening government operations

The Honourable Mona Fortier, President of the Treasury Board of Canada, accompanied by the Honourable Joyce Murray, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, will announce a new project in British Columbia funded through the Greening Government Fund. The project provides a contribution to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans to conduct a pilot project to evaluate emergent renewable and hybrid power, energy and control systems.

Ministers Fortier and Murray will be available to answer media questions following the announcement.
