The Canada Employment and Immigration Union (CEIU) Component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) - Change to Membership Dues

The Canada Employment and Immigration Union (CEIU) component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) has advised us of changes to membership dues, taking effect on .
As a result of the transfer of employees of Service Canada to the Department of Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC), the CEIU Component has authorized a membership dues increase. CEIU's portion in percentage of the dues rate will increase from 0.653975% to 0.730300%. This final increase will bring this group in line with all other members of the CEIU.
These adjustments will be made automatically to the pay system. No departmental input will be required.
Please note that this new rate change applies to all employees, as described above, who are currently paying membership dues and are covered by collective agreements between the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and the PSAC.
Departmental Compensation and Labour Relations managers should direct any questions to their appropriate corporate officials who, if need be, can contact the Pay Administration Section.
Any employee enquiries regarding these membership dues changes are to be directed to their respective PSAC Component.
