Early Retirement Incentive (ERI) termination codes

The purpose of this bulletin is to advise organizations in the core public administration (Schedules I and IV of the Financial Administration Act) of termination reason codes to be used in HR systems to record employee departures through the Early Retirement Incentive (ERI).
The appropriate code depends on the Public Service Pension Plan group to which the employee belongs and should be used only for terminations under ERI between March 26, 2026, and January 20, 2027, inclusive.
