Rates of Pay and Terms and Conditions of Employment Modifications for Excluded Employees of Certain Specific Occupational Groups - January 2013

I am pleased to announce the revised rates of pay as well as modifications to the Terms and Conditions of Employment for certain excluded employees, as approved by Treasury Board of Canada, for the following groups: Architecture, Engineering and Land Survey (NR); Economics and Social Science Services (EC); Electronics (EL); Health Services (SH); Non-Supervisory Printing Services (PR(NS)); Radio Operations (RO); and Translation (TR).

Rates of Pay

The rates of pay applicable to these excluded employee groups correspond to those found in their relevant collective agreement and can be found online at Rates of Pay for the Public Service of Canada

The rates of pay for the following excluded positions for which no rates are listed in the relevant collective agreement can be found online at:

Medicine Group (MD)
Nursing Group (NU)
Radio Operations Group (RO)
Translation Group (TR)

Severance Termination

Severance pay eligibility for voluntary separation (retirement and resignation) is discontinued as of the date indicated in the relevant collective agreement for all the groups listed above.

The estimate on years of continuous employment is to be provided no later than three (3) months from December 17, 2012, (the date of the approved modifications) that is, no later than inclusively.

Employees are to select their option within six (6) months from , which is by inclusively.
