To: Heads of Human Resources, Directors/Chiefs of Labour Relations and Compensation, Public Service Pay Centre, Miramichi

The purpose of this bulletin is to advise you that the method for calculating the Supervisory Differential and the Inmate Training Differential has been revised.

As shown in Part 3 of the attached Annex A, the calculation for determining the new basic rate of pay for promotions or deployments is now established according to a different method.

As a result, the calculation method described in the Information Bulletin on the Supervisory Differential and Inmate Training Differential, dated , is no longer in effect.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada is advising potentially affected employees on the procedure to follow to identify themselves and have their rates of pay adjusted.

All questions should be directed to your Departmental Corporate Labour Relations or Corporate Compensation Official who, if required, will direct the questions to the Compensation and Labour Relations group at the following email address: Interpretations@tbs-sct.gc.ca.
