Le volet Soutien aux librairies du Fonds du livre du Canada du gouvernement du Canada fournira 12 millions de dollars à 180 librairies, dont 177 petites chaînes et librairies indépendantes, ainsi que 3 grandes chaînes de librairies, pour les aider à accroître leurs ventes de livres en ligne en 2022-2023 et 2023-2024. Au total, 467 points de vente partout au Canada bénéficieront de ce soutien, dont 50 librairies situées dans des communautés rurales ou éloignées, et 37 librairies appartenant à des membres de communautés autochtones, de communautés de langue officielle en situation minoritaire et de communautés racisées partout au pays.
