When We Train

September to April:

  • Thursday evenings
  • 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • one weekend per month.

Full-time summer employment is available from May to August.

21 Electronic Warfare Regiment (21 EW Regt) is an integrated Reserve and Regular Force unit of the Canadian Combat Support Brigade (CCSB) whose task is to provide tactical Electronic Warfare Support to the Canadian Armed Forces deployed on international operations. The Reserve Sqn provides augmentation for both overseas deployments and tasks/training in Canada.

21 Electronic Warfare Regiment is always hiring intelligent, fit, and confident men and women with an interest in dynamic and challenging training as EW specialists and support personnel. We use specialized equipment which requires a strong technical aptitude. Within their first few years of service, new members must be available to attend full-time courses during the summer (May-Aug) where technical skills are acquired for employment. We train one evening a week and one or two weekends a month from September to April. As part of a larger Regular Force unit, Reservists have greater access to training within Canada and internationally, year around, allowing more flexibility to new members in developing their military careers.

When you join our unit, you will receive competitive pay for your part time or full time work as well as be eligible for on the job training that could benefit you in civilian life. Also, there are medical, dental and educational benefits available to Army Reservists.

Here are all the details:

  • Commanding Officer: Lieutenant-Colonel Ricardo Dias, CD
