Creative Export Canada

The Creative Export Canada program will receive for its 2022-2023 cohort, an additional $6,000,000 in funding from the Recovery Fund for Arts, Culture, Heritage and Sport sectors.

The Application Guidelines have been reviewed to reflect two changes:

  • A project must cover a single fiscal year (project expenses must occur between April 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023);
  • A project must have a minimum total cost of $150,000.

It is strongly recommended that you read the Application Guidelines in their entirety.

The CEC program will be hosting webinars to provide tips on submitting applications. Sessions will take place:

  • In English: August 31, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) and September 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).
  • In French: August 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) and September 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)

Creative Export Canada offers funding for projects that generate export revenues and help Canadian creative industries reach more people around the world.

The program is highly competitive, therefore only a limited number of projects are funded each year.
