The past few months have been a unique and challenging time for Defence Team members, so it is important that you are as informed as possible about Business Resumption Planning (BRP), the guidance around COVID-19 and BRP, and that you continue to monitor the evolving situation.

If you haven’t already done so, take the time to read and familiarize yourself with the Joint CDS/DM Directive for the Resumption of Activities.

A return to work scenario, whether you are physically working on-site or working remotely, will not be a one-size-fits-all solution for an organization as varied and complex as Defence. lmplementation will vary from one organization, region, and team to the next.

For helpful information and resources about the situation, be sure to regularly visit the Defence Team Resuming Work page. This section includes valuable information and resources pertinent to both civilian and military Defence Team members as the resumption of business and activities resume. The site also features the new Ask Anything – COVID-19 inbox where staff are encouraged to submit their return to work questions.

Before submitting your questions, please have a conversation with your manager or chain of command who will likely be able to provide an answer. You can also consult the comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions section on the Defence Team COVID-19 web site.
