Addressing Wrongful Behaviours: DND’s first annual report

The Department of National Defence (DND) has published its inaugural annual report, Addressing Wrongful Behaviours at the Department of National Defence (DND).

The report’s contents provide insight into wrongful behaviours by DND public service employees and how they are addressed within the organization. Year over year, this report will help DND monitor trends, promote transparency, and allow for proactive awareness activities to prevent wrongful behaviours and mitigate their impact.

No matter the form they take, wrongful behaviours are not tolerated within the Defence Team. All incidents are taken seriously.

Every public service employee should have access to a safe, secure, healthy, and respectful work environment where they can contribute to their fullest potential. Wrongful behaviours can take many forms in the workplace, including harassment and violence, discrimination, acts of wrongdoing, and misconduct.
