The personal information you provide is collected under the authority of the National Defence Act, relevant Ministerial Directives, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAODs). It is protected in accordance with the Privacy Act.

Purpose of Collection:

Your information is collected to assess, manage, and respond to conflict or complaint submissions within the DND/CAF. It is also used in the context of informal conflict resolution when accessing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services.

Use of Information:

Authorized Conflict Solutions and Services personnel will use your information to support resolution efforts.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Your personal information may be shared with internal stakeholders (e.g., your Chain of Command) to support early, local, and informal resolution. Before any disclosure, CCMS will:

Disclosure Without Consent:

In limited cases, personal information may be disclosed without consent under subsection 8(2) of the Privacy Act, these disclosures are managed by the Directorate of Access to Information and Privacy (DAIP).

Consequences of Refusal:

If you choose not to provide and/or consent to the sharing of requested personal information, CCMS may be unable to proceed with consultation, assessment, and/or resolution of your complaint.
