This consultation was to initiate discussions on the Ozone-depleting Substances and Halocarbons Alternatives Regulations. Information received will support the regulatory review of the Regulations.
The goal of this review was to determine the effectiveness of the current regulations in achieving its objectives.

- hydrofluorocarbons phase-down
- controls on certain products containing ozone-depleting substances and hydrofluorocarbons
- new and specialized uses of hydrofluorocarbons
- administrative mechanisms
