The Compliance Framework is archived.  The Supervision Framework came into effect on October 1, 2018.

Q: What are the quarterly reporting deadlines for reportable complaints for FRFEs?

Exception:

Insuranc​e companies are not required to file Nil reports in either the detailed or aggregate manner. These will be addressed in the annual examination.

Q. What are the reporting deadlines for PCNOs?

Q: Where do I send reportable compliance issues or reportable complaints?

FRFEs may choose the method it considers most appropriate. Reportable compliance issues and complaints can be sent via the following methods:

Q: If I am responsible for reporting complaints for more than one FRFE, can I send one report covering all the FRFEs?

If the answers to all of the questions are the same for every FRFE indicated on the report, you may send one report. Please ensure that if one report covers multiple FRFEs, clearly identify the names of all the FRFEs.

Q: When did the revised compliance framework come into effect?

The revised framework came into effect November 2011.

The reporting of voluntary codes of conduct and public commitments is a requirement as of April 1, 2012.

Q: Where can I find the templates to report compliance matters (complaints and/or issues)?

The templates can be found on our website.
