Update it and take it with you

Take it with you

Saving a copy of your workplace accommodation agreement in the GC Workplace Accessibility Passport (the Passport) avoids the need to renegotiate  measures anytime you change jobs, organizations or managers.

How to save and update your Passport

Once you and your manager have signed an agreement in the Passport, save the file as Protected B and store it in a secure place. Remember to update it at least every 6 months and whenever:

The Canada School of Public Service offers more information on how your privacy is protected in the Passport.

Section 5: Passport amendments

In this section, note any changes that have been made to your Passport since it was first signed. Include the dates each time the agreement is signed and when the solutions are implemented. This will help preserve the history of your agreed-on workplace accommodation tools and support measures.
