Canada School of Public Service

The Canada School of Public Service (CSPS):

  • provides a common, standardized curriculum that supports public servants throughout their career
  • strives to ensure that all public servants have the knowledge and skills to successfully serve Canadians

Digital Academy

The CSPS Digital Academy provides learning in support of modernization of Government of Canada services, policies, workplace, and workforce to enable the transition to digital government. Learning products cover digital, digital government leadership, data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, human-centred and service design, Agile, and product management as well as other themes.

The Digital Academy supports public servants at all stages of their learning and at all levels of their careers through instructor-led and self-paced learning.

The Digital Academy also offers:

  • learning events through a virtual exhibition space
  • micro-learning opportunities
  • experiential learning through the CSPS Digital Accelerator

Busrides is a micro-learning product created by the Digital Academy. This micro-learning product aims to deepen your understanding of everything digital and government from leading experts in under 10 minutes.

Development programs

Development programs are designed to help individuals progress in their careers by providing them with experience and knowledge. Several departments and agencies have a development program in place that is open to employees.

Mentoring

Mentoring is a great way to improve essential skills, build strong relationships and promote learning.

Current employees in the public service are encouraged to participate in mentoring programs, such as Mentorship Plus.
