Canada–European Union Regulatory Cooperation Forum annual meeting

The Regulatory Cooperation Forum (RCF) is a special committee under the Canada–European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) that meets annually to discuss RCF activities and update stakeholders. The RCF is only one of a number of CETA committees that have been established to determine how to develop, supplement or implement the agreement.

Fourth meeting (May 2022)

The fourth meeting took place virtually on May 3 and 4, 2022.

During this meeting:

  • Regulators provided progress updates on work-plan items and discussed new items
  • Stakeholders were provided with a debrief on RCF-related activities

Third meeting (February 2021)

The third meeting took place virtually on February 9 and 10, 2021.

During this meeting:

  • regulators provided progress updates on work-plan items
  • a new item regarding pediatric medicines was added to the work plan
  • stakeholders were provided with a debrief on RCF-related activities

Second meeting (February 2020)

The second meeting took place in Ottawa, Canada, on February 3 and 4, 2020.

During this meeting:

  • regulators provided progress updates on work-plan items
  • stakeholders were provided with a debrief of RCF-related activities

First meeting (December 2018)

The first meeting took place in Brussels, Belgium, on December 14, 2018.

During this meeting:

  • an initial work plan was adopted for the RCF
  • stakeholders were provided with information about the RCF and how it will proceed
