Health Canada service standards and performance information for fiscal year 2022 to 2023

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide quality client service, we have developed service standards. Service standards state the level of performance that citizens can reasonably expect to receive under normal circumstances.

This report covers the 2022 to 2023 fiscal year. A fiscal year runs from April 1 to March 31.

Consumer product safety

• Drug establishment licences under the Food and Drug Regulations
• Drug submission evaluations (pharmaceuticals and biologic products) under the Food and Drugs Regulations
• Medical device establishment licences under the Medical Devices Regulations

• Natural health product application reviews under the Natural Health Product Regulations
