Report a side effect to a drug: consumers
Everyone who witnesses or experiences a side effect (adverse reaction) to a drug is strongly encouraged to report it. You can also work with your health care provider (doctor, nurse, pharmacist) to submit a report. They may offer additional information that could be useful for our assessment.
To mail your report to a Canada Vigilance Regional Office, use the postage paid label.
What drugs are included
Drugs include:
- pharmaceutical drugs (prescription and non-prescription drugs)
- biologics (biotechnology products and blood products)
- radiopharmaceutical drugs
